Heading to London for the weekend....

Not much exciting news to report today..
My brother and his girlfriend arrived yesterday. They were quite surprised how american friendly Dublin is. Compared to Rome where they felt foreign and tense, Dublin is more like a New York City. I'd say thats pretty spot on. Everyone speaks your language, the food is not that different (there are many american chains here as well), and the people are usually nice. If I were ever to move to Europe, Dublin would definitly be a place that I would consider.
Last nite we went to ThunderRoad Cafe...an american chain...drew couldnt make it any further without food. Its on fleet street, right across from the Hard Rock Cafe. It really had a Hard Rockish vibe, as well as HR prices.
Then we headed further down the temple bar area...and made a stop in Temple Bar. We met some canadians there, that were actually pretty cool. After a few drinks we proceeded on.
We ended up at Bruxelles again, mostly bc we know that it is a late bar. Its open until half 1 at least sometimes later. Wednesdays are acoustic open mic nites...although i couldnt help but notice that the participants are the same ones ive seen there twice before...BOOO...not that they arent good but i would've like to see some new talent..
Tonite we are heading to London for the weekend...im pretty excited about that. Not sure definitly what we are gonna do there but it should be grand...YAY
Well must go prepare myself for a presentation to my supervisor about what i have been doing for the past 6 weeks....Peace
