Hooley Nite @ Johnnie Fox's Pub

Whoo...It been a few since i updated so im gonna break it up abit.
Thursday: Went to the doctor for my foot. Again i find the Irish Health Care System very unsatisfactory. This time they want to me to get an ultrasound, and blood work done. Not sure how that has anything to do with the fact that my foot is half broken. They also gave me a prescription for a pain pill that is just above advil, something at home u could buy over the counter. I think they are a bit hesitant to prescribe pills here. At nite, we went to the flat of some fellow Americans. Had our most impressive beer pong preformance EVER. Then we headed to Craw Daddys on Hartford street. Its a really nice club. They had the only drink specials we have seen in the country. Pretty cool.
Friday: We went to a Hooley Night at Johnnie Fox's pub. Its the highest pub in ireland, set way back in the mountains. You pay 55euro and get a 3 course meal, and entertainment. They had an irish band play...def got to hear our favorite song, molly malone. Also we saw authentic irish dancing. Pretty grand. I feel its worth mentioning that we learned from some friend on the train that people dance like that in ireland bc they werent supposed to be dancing when they were being supressed by the english. They tops of their bodies dont move so that the english couldnt see them dancing through the windows. Pretty interesting huh? After Johnnie Foxs we stopped at the Corner stone...its in the Camden street area. Nice pub but pretty empty, although we didnt get there until fairly late.
